• Programme overview

  The QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instruction programme is a 5-day blended learning course designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and competence to design and deliver effective manual handling training in the workplace.

  The course combines tutor-led virtual learning with classroom-based practical training and is suitable for a wide range of working environments. Learners will gain the ability to tailor manual handling instruction to specific workplace conditions while also developing competency in carrying out manual handling risk assessments.

  Successful completion of the programme can support progression into further instructor and professional training courses, including Fire Safety, Fire Marshal, PHECC FAR Instructor and DSE/VDU Assessor programmes.
