Drogheda & District Chamber is the promoting organisation for M1 Drogheda Chamber Skillnet and while it is not necessary to be a member of M1 Drogheda Chamber to avail of Skillnet training it is advisable to become a member to avail of greater benefits. M1 Drogheda Chamber Skillnet is open to any business in the North East region that has an interest in up-skilling their employees and benefiting from networking with other companies in the region.
There are no membership fees or sign up fees to use M1 Drogheda Chamber Skillnet for your business training needs. Just contact us and let us know what training your company requires.
Companies can book training on a course by course basis. These courses will vary in cost, as will the discounts. You can email info@m1skillnet.ie or manager@m1skillnet.ie to request the training course you need and we will source a course best suited to your needs. You can be of any size or sector to join our Network. We train companies all across the north east along the M1 corridor and expanding out from Fingal, Louth, Meath, as far as Monaghan and Cavan.
Our network Steering Group members and our member organisations dictate what programmes will run and it is the job of the Network Manager to source the appropriate programmes. By engaging with our network manager your company can help us to understand your companies needs and we can source trainers that will tailor specific courses around companies requirements if the “off the shelf” courses aren’t specific or relevant.
Just let us know what you need and we can discuss options for sourcing the required training your company needs.
Grant-aid is provided at between 20% to 40% depending on the course in question. For courses where more than one company is in attendance, additional support can be considered.
The Skillnet ethos is to promote collaboration, networking and economies of scale, allowing business to connect and learn from other, companies that promote this through sharing their training receive additional funding. It will also depend on the type of training being provided.
