    Programme overview

    Whether you are in the area of childcare, elder care, social care or health care, supervision is an important part of working life and self improvement. This course is presented by Barnardos who have gained years of experience in conducting and perfecting superivison methodologies. We explore and develop the supervisee's understanding and expectations of supervision and assist in gaining insights into good and bad supervision.

    Learning outcomes

    • Explore and develop their understanding and expectations of supervision;
    • Consider the purpose of supervision;
    • Examine the impact of good and poor supervision, and
    • Explore how supervision can help the work progress when it feels stuck (using learning cycles and reflective practice).
