Forklift Instructor

• Programme overview

  The course suits experienced Forklift Operators or Safety Trainers who wish to add to their training portfolio. An RTITB Instructor holds an internationally recognised qualification in providing forklift training courses to prepare and examine operators for the working environment.

• Learning outcomes

  The RTITB independently assesses all trainees and will receive an RTITB instructor certificate upon completing the course. The training provides the qualification for the newly qualified instructor to certify training and instruct novice and experienced operators. On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Plan, prepare and present forklift instruction
  2. Conduct and mark theoretical tests
  3. Issue certificates to operators upon completion of training
  4. Be thoroughly familiar with RTITB standards
• Who is the course for

  The ideal candidate should have sufficient experience and skill in operating a forklift truck. Study material and training notes are also included as part of the programme.

• What is involved

  This is an intensive 10 Day programme running from 9:00 am – 4:00pm that requires significant study. Participants will receive theoretical study material to study and will undergo training on instructional techniques, workplace hazards, forklift operator testing, theory and practice.
