      This Introduction to Microsoft Copilot 365 course provides practical, hands-on training in using AI across the core Microsoft 365 applications to improve productivity and efficiency.

      Participants will learn how to use Copilot in Outlook to draft professional emails, create newsletters, and summarise lengthy email threads. In PowerPoint, you’ll discover how to generate presentations from web content or existing documents, create agendas and summaries, add speaker notes, generate slide images, improve accessibility, translate content, and receive guidance on delivering presentations effectively.

      The Excel section focuses on analysing data, creating formulas, and summarising reviews or large datasets with ease. In Word, learners will practise creating structured documents from scratch, summarising and rewriting content for different audiences and tones, translating text, comparing documents, and enhancing files with tables of contents, acknowledgements, references, FAQs, glossaries, and visuals.

      By the end of this module, learners will be confident using Copilot to streamline everyday tasks, enhance communication, and create high-quality professional content across Microsoft 365.

They will understand prompt engineering principles and manage prompts efficiently. Students will create and interpret Excel formulas and charts, draft and summarise emails, and improve Word documents. They will generate presentations, summarise websites, and obtain structured answers. Learners will apply Copilot for language learning, travel planning, customer service scenarios, image creation and analysis, and creative content development.
